heh, spent o bit of time on your 'big island' back in the late '70's going
to places most oz landers have not been, NW cape barking sands, Ayers Rock,
Womera, cross the never never, contributed a chapter to volume 4 of the
dangerous and lethal flora and fauna of Australia, and been back a few times since, took the family when working in Sydney ‘summer’ of June / July 2001
A lot of aussies go overseas rather than see australia. Sounds weird, but it is kind of the way it works here.
